Share and discover books at the Conference Browsing Library!

What are experiential educators reading these days?

Do you have a book that you think is  indispensable to the field of experiential education? Loan your tried-and-tested EE resource books to our Browsing Library at the 2012 AEE NW Conference!

In lieu of an official bookstore, we are inviting conference participants to bring and share their most useful, educational, interesting theory books and practical guides from their personal collection.

This communal collection of books will be a fantastic way to discover new, recommended resources without risking the upfront cost of purchase. Browse through a shared book, talk to the person who recommended it, then buy online after the conference!

We are also aiming to facilitate online ordering at the conference.

Sharing your books at the Browsing Library will also show just how savvy you are in the world of experiential education! Got a favorite book? Write a review or pitch a recommendation and we’ll tape it to the front of the book for others to read.

And no need to worry about losing your book! We will log your books into our inventory when you arrive on site, checking to ensure your name and address are written inside the front cover. When the conference is over, your book(s) will be waiting for you at pick up!

If you have any questions about the Browsing Library or would like to enquire whether someone is already bringing your recommended title, please contact Michael Sarrow, Browsing Library Coordinator (michaelsarrow@gmail.com).
